Living on the Edge: Esperance Writers Blog

Updated: May 23

Following interest arising out of our of Digital Creation Hub workshops with Dorothy Henderson on writing for online platforms, Esperance Community Arts is hosting a writers blog. This is an opportunity for amateur and professional writers based in our region to share their stories with a wider audience.

Thanks to funding support from the Mt Burdett Foundation we were able to extend these workshops with the 'Putting pen to Paper' series delivered weekly from March to May as part of our Readers and Writers Esperance 2021 program.

Workshop participants were invited to share short segments of writing using the blog as a platform to circulate local stories more widely.

Dorothy's reflections on the experience of facilitating these workshops are the starting point for this project.
