Putting Pen to Paper: Your Stories

This workshop is for writers to write and talk about the challenges they face as creatives with stories to tell. Workshop facilitator, Dorothy (Dodie) Henderson, has always loved the written word. She has worked as a journalist, including work in rural reporting, for over 30 years. She has written for The Esperance Express, Kalgoorlie Miner, the ABC, The Countryman, The Green Agenda and other publications as a freelancer. She is a member of the Rural Room collective of regional creatives. Work as a rural reporter has allowed her to combine her love of the land with the pleasure that comes with hearing the stories of others, and retelling them respectfully.
